Welcome to Dotty Bobbin, the creative business that brings the love for sewing and all things handmade! Come and learn to sew in our drop in classes in Felden from as little as £7:50 per hour, or bring along your kids and sew together.

I arrived at Dotty Bobbin a complete sewing novice. By the end of my first session Saskia had taken me through a few sewing machine basics and I came home with a pin cushion – a great achievement for someone who has not touched a sewing machine for 25+ years! Four sessions later my new ‘made by me’ Roman blind is hanging pride of place in my dining room. Saskia is full of ideas and a brilliant teacher.

Always a fab evening, no knowledge needed as will be taught from scratch in small groups, in a friendly, relaxing atmosphere. Would recommend to all my friends.

I’ve had a sewing machine since I was a school girl, but I never really knew how to use my machine properly. The machine has not been used for years. Then I was introduced to Saskia and her sewing class. I’ve learned so much and have made some bits I’m really proud of. It’s endless what this clever lady knows. I’m now having a go at upholstery. These classes have opened up a whole new world to me, I look forward to my sewing class, and meeting up with the others there.
